Centenary Article - Woking Informer

First up, the programme for the Woburn Hill (old junior school, where the Henderson Centre now is) production of Oliver from 1983.

Next, a Woburn Hill mass in the SGC chapel, also probably 1983, with WH headmaster Father Francis. I can name most of the people in the picture!

The orchestra rehearsal picture is from I think 1984. Several staff member in the orchestra, and at the back with the big curly black hair, next to the bassoon player, half obscured is Peter Gordeno, now a permanent member of Depeche Mode's touring band.

There are then 3 choir tour photos, from the mid 80s - the black and white one is at the Menin Gate WW1 memorial,  the fields of flowers are a place called Merelbecke, and the greenery is in the grounds of College Melle, the school outside Ghent which was the motherschool of the Josephite Order and of St George's, where the tour was always based. The Eton of Belgium, someone once called it, although I can't say how true that was.

I have also found some more items you might be interested in, a Woburn Hill 1984 prize giving programme, and then an article from the Woking Informer (I think) about the school centenary, from autumn term 1984.
